When the Sun Princess was launched in 1995 she was the world's largest cruise liner and set new standards in passenger ship design.
The Sun Princess was the biggest cruise ship at approximately 1.7 times the size of the Titanic which was 46,000 tons and bigger than the famous QE2 at 70,300 tons.

The cruise ship Costa Concordia has for its 3700 passengers, 4 lounges, 3 dance-clubs, thirteen luxury bars, and seven resturants. The two main dining rooms on this ship are the Ristorante Roma and the Ristorante Milano and both are quite spacious, able to seat 700 passengers. At the center of the Costa Concordia you will find the Cafeteria Helsinki. This is more of a coffee bar than a cafeteria where you can buy a coffee or tea as well as a variety of cakes, pies and pastries.
